Quirky Cork

Cork provides both thermal and sound insulation, as well as being waterproof, mould and mildew resistant, hypoallergenic and hard-wearing. “There isn’t a room in the house where you can’t use cork,” From the bathroom to the basement and on walls as well as floors.

Firewood Art

As seen many times in the approach towards modern/traditional family-tv rooms, the firewood can be a central focal point to creating an artistic touch of vision + function. A great execution. courtesy of Kimberly Hall Creative in NYC.

New Kids!

Twin boys sharing a bedroom. This is the board we're working on. Light boxes, hive shelves, wall fishbowls are all some elements for a fun space that can grow with young kids.

So simple So youthful

With a little help of white paint, white lacquer desktop, a few cool chairs and some cutting edge geometric fabric, an office is transformed.

Find the good, criticize the not so good : ) Its the way of design

Although a little bland.....some nice elements in this room to consider. The boxed white wall for instance is quiet, but textured and interesting. It gives a bland wall some dimension that you cannot achieve in the same way with color, or even wainscoting. Simplicity is not easy : )

The sofa to me is a little green....or perhaps its the window treatments that are too boring of a color, but the 'architecture' is what I like best, and some other touches.....the single chunky book on the lacquered coffee table, the different lamps/lighting used on either side, and that element hanging above the center of room......

And I must add that 'sunburst mirrors' (sorry to say to picky designers) do not go out of style....some may disagree, but I have a hard time finding their wear in a space.
